I wonder how many of us felt the same way?

The GF & I did 1/2 & 1/2 on the lone Heady that we've ever tasted. I remember preferring glass. :-)

I love the chocolate oranges you eat, so I've been tempted to pick it up. But, then I'm reminded of that bottle of Creme Brulee I haven't opened yet for this very same reason.

Just wanted to say that I always enjoy your posts, man. :-)
Hope you were able to salvage some of that brew!

Give it a shot, man. Don't listen to some old beer curmudgeon like me. You might like it (even if I thought it was repulsive shit)! I like most of ST's offerings, but man oh man, was this one tough.

Oh, I will, and I do respect all opinions here. I just know ST has a reputation for sweet beers. In their defense, I do like Mokah, Choklat, Pumking and Warlock. Reading how sweet Creme Brulee and Choklat Oranj are, I think I am gonna have to be in the mood. By the way, we're BOTH old beer curmudgeons ... pleased to know you!

Nice raspberry wild beer. Muted sourness, but not too sweet either. I think I enjoyed the Black Briar more, but had it some months ago.

That makes two of us (on both points), Mr. @RonaldTheriot . Anyone that has the old Falstaff logo as their avatar HAS to be a class act!

Driving across town to do my mom's yard work, done. Donating blood, done. I think that concludes my good deeds for the day. I earned a beer. Happy Thursday and cheers!
