    Doing my second can of Neshaminy Creek's Shape of Hops to come. Their target was to produce a West Coast version of a DIPA and they've hit their mark, but that said I'm not inclined to buy more after I finish my 4 pack since I think, having had fresh Pliny the Elder on tap, I think that this beer down plays hop flavors in favor of bitterness, bitterness, and more bitterness (but at least it doesn't leave one with a shredded toungue :slight_smile:). I'm hoping that over the next two weeks as I have one a week, things will become better balanced and I'll actually be able to fully taste the tropical fruits that should be noticeable in this one but at the moment are well concealed by the bitterness.

    BTW I'm not a hundred percent certain but suspect that the name of the beer tells us something about the brewer's TV viewing and favorite programs.

    Watch this for a clue that points to what may be the origin of the name of the beer:

    BA's on fire tonight....

    For me...lighter beers (color and ABV%...Sculpin and SN Hop Hunter)...too tasty, flow too fast...esp. in warm weather---poolside....but what the hell---Friday it is BA's..so onto #2

    so much tastier than my initial foray into this one....love it more so now...Hop Hunter all good!

    love each of these selections...can't say the same about those felines (sad, but true...my issue to grapple with)...but full respect to those who do and engage in mass cat-**** mixed with the beer-**** on site...all good
