What beer are you drinking now? #1024

Imgur finally working for me, sadly while it was down I couldn't show you all the Whalz I was drinking. Right this minute I'm drinking my last one of these.

Waiting on Imgur was like this, inconsiderate SOB.

 

This one is better. It shows up quite a bit here and that is a good thing.

 

Nice collab -- but tough for Trillium to improve on the perfection of FPPA.

 

Well count me in the group having issues with imgur. They probably want me to sign up for something, probably.

Anyhow, I split a Black Butte XXVI with the GF and we got 2 different beers. Mine was the bottom of the beer pour with considerable floatie action. Hers was normal. Mine was much fruitier, hers more earthy/rooty. Reviewed it as two separate beers as it's a single year, retired beer and this was more interesting to me than a real review.

I got a chuckle out of this - really needs chart to bring it home.

Tallgrass Brewings Buffalo Sweat, received as an extra in trade; SO good. An Oatmeal Cream Stout, lovely degree of roast married with such smoothness. Par Excellence!

 

When it is -50 deg F in January (with the wind chill), it is days like today that we Minnesotan's think about. Just a picture perfect day. And if we're beer nerds, we're probably thinking about a day like today wrapped around a beer like Pseudo. And we're wondering if the roads are clear to Decorah so we can go score some more. Since the AC is up in the house I will have a lighter stout. Not bad either.

 

Farmhouse?! Obviously details reveal true identity but seems misleading. A little tartness or yeast would nice. Didn't expect a muddled tropical and bitter pine mess of an IPA. Too bad, hope the upcoming SMaSH series is better.
