Game of Thrones beers. Will there be more?

I don't know, but Three-Eyed Raven is really good. I don't want to see that one discontinued.

 

I wonder if those are sold near me.....

 

I believe as long as the series is running on TV they will be making the beer. Three Eyed Raven and Take The Black Stout were pretty solid brews. But still mostly just gimmicky. But I won't lie, I'll buy every one of them just for the bottles.

This is exactly how I feel. But I believe they should be doing more interesting stuff like Allagash.

 

I had the same reaction.

Seriously can't wait until this beers stop being produced so I can get back to my life. I've never had one, nor even considered buying one, but they are causing me all kinds of stress and hardship!

 

Add to that the burden of getting a free Game of Thrones glass with the bottle I bought.

It is actually getting to the point of oppressive.

 

They have 5 different beers for the 5 seasons, so one could assume they would make more.

 

I liked Game of Thrones. I really liked valar morghulis, take the black stout and iron throne.

 

While they are decent beers, I will not lose any sleep over it, if they do not make any more. I will say, however, the gimmick, or whatever you call it, worked for them, Cheers !!

 

I think it's a cool concept, I don't watch the show, I've had a few of the beers, but I see a lot of folks come into my store when these beers get released, and for a lot of them it might be their first intro to craft beer, so...brew on!!

 

I really liked Take The Black, Valar Morghulis, and Three Eyed Raven. Ommegang makes good stuff, and as @tlema1 said if that brings GoT fans in the world of good beer then that's a win for beer advocacy. I'd be happy to see them continue the series.

 

Next GoT beer release is scheduled for October, but I don't think they've announced it yet.

One of my beer retailers said that he believed there are plans to bring back Iron Throne and Take the Black in a gift box with a glass. He showed me a photo of it, too (which I don't have). That doesn't preclude a new release, however.

The still haven't brewed a quad or a tripel for this series, which I would expect at some point. A quad was offered up when Ommegang had voting for the fourth beer: Seven Kingdoms Tripel and Hand of the King Quadrupel. Perhaps they'll return to one of those ideas?
