So this is the pumpkin tasting so far....




I have doubles of several of the 12oz'ers. Saturday October 17th. 5 PM Any SWTFYW'er or Local is welcome! I just need to know who is coming so I can make enough food. And there will be other drinks as palate cleansers!

I have more on the way. I think the selection is good so far! I talked to Selins Grove Brewing and Imay be able to convince them to get me a growler of their pumpkin ale on Nitro.........it's fantastic!

 

Try to get the Selins Grove filled day of. Nitro fills would be off if consumed a while later.

 

That's the plan if I can swing it!

 

Ok so I wanted to wait and give a chance for people to weigh in, but the majority (unanimously) that spoke was for me just continuing on with the box as normal, so I apologize if anyone is in the other camp on how this played out, but I'll make sure the box continues on its way with some great beers. So without further ado, the BIAB from @CTJman who developed pregnancy brain via osmosis from his good lady. It happens, trust me.

The box was almost lost, but I was able to re-acquire it from the jerk who moved into my old apartment and had the box sitting outside their door with my phone number on it and not even trying to call and notify me via some ninja like action sneaking through doors and down hallways without being spotted. Once doing a little recon action with a baby strapped to me, the next the pick up. Somehow I came out unscathed and without running into and nosy neighbors. It was a struggle getting it picked up and without giving myself a hernia, but I did it. I don't know how Jarrod did it sneaking around his wife, but holy heavy box

It's hard to see perspective but that's more than half way up my couch and nearly half the width. FedEx could not have been happy. Plus they kindly decorated it with a bunch of Heavy stickers.

First off, the "extras" AKA the box within the BIAB. Holy jackpot Batman! (turns out there's a whole website of Robin sayings http://holysmokesbatman.com/directory. it's true you CAN find anything online now a days)



And then onto the main attraction:

What a selection! Did this quick cause had to get ready for my wife's friend visitin, so didn't choose on the wrapped ones yet. They're so hard to turn down. They could be anything. Even a boat! And you know how much we've wanted a boat!
Plus the challenge bottle... Requires me drinking the other beer in 8 minutes or less. a 750. that's rare that I don't know what it is... Luckily nothing about shirts being on or off.

Feels like I'm forgetting something but there was just so much in there, I can't figure it out. Thanks Jarrod for an incredible box and some can't wait to get cold new ticks!

The other side of that is that I am much more productive at work.
