Yes, leaving in a few minutes so should be there 12:30-1pm. I will have on a dark Victory Brewing T-Shirt and I am like 6'6" with curly hair, not so hard to spot. It will be my first time there! Heading to Phoenix Brewing afterward to try it out as well.

Has anyone seen elevator scorpion lager around the Akron area lately, need one for a beer challenge

 

At hoof hearted now... The Musk of the Minotaur is unlike any IPA I have had. Just a complete tropical fruit overload. Way different from Heady and such... After one glass I was mixed, but after two it really grew on me. It's absolutely delicious. The coffee version is insane, as well. Loving this place.

@WesMantooth it was good running into you! Appreciate the crossing sword share. Let me know when you come up to Cleveland and perhaps we can meet you wherever.

Coffee is where it's at. Really tasty. After two of those and both of the Saizzurps, the regular Musk was hitting oh so right. These guys just have "it". Can't wait for the Columbus brewpub.

 

Musk, Blabe, and South deserve all the attention they are getting. I liked the Guava Saizzurp a lot too. The Crossing the Swords didnt do much for me, but I would love to have some of that coffee Musk bottled!

 

All this talk about Hoof Hearted... Does any one know how far north it reaches in distro? Sans first energy Stadium. I wanna grab some of this but I don't wanna drive 3 hours or pay to see a Browns game. Haha

 

I think it is mainly concentrated around Columbus.

In new brewery news looks like Springfield Ohio will finally get a brewery also appears one of the guys involved Kevin Loftis worked at Otter Creek Brewing and has a diploma in brewing studies from the Siebel Institute of Technology pretty excited to see this happen in Springfield!!

 

Was in there about 11am, they had 7 or 8 cases when I left.

 

Cappy's in Loveland got some Musk of the Minotaur, also.

Any news / updates on bottle limits for this weekends Wolf Ridge release?

 

Got the chance to try a bunch wolf ridge beers this weekend and was very impressed. My favorite was their coffee cream ale. Wish I could head down and grab a few bottles of it this weekend

 

I went to Can't Brewing Co. today. For me the Carpe Noctem Coffee Porter is reason enough to go back. I wanted to get a growler but they were sold out. I was told I could bring my own and the would fill. I also tried the Double IPA which was good, and the Red Wine Barrel Aged Belgian Strong Golden. That was different from most other beers I've had, but I did enjoy it. The food was also good but a little expensive for me.

It was a good experience and I will definitely go back to get the porter.

 

We'll post something official tomorrow as some is left to be bottled but it's looking like 3 Coco Joy and 4 Daybreak. With the possibility of a second sale depending on turnout. Also hoping to finalize the draft list tomorrow. Some really cool stuff planned (ie cinnamon Daybreak and blonde Canis Mexicanus)
