I don't think this has been brought up but which brewery hasn't been given enough credit for making great beer. I know that it is common to have monthly threads for Trillium, Treehouse, Hill Farmstead, NEBCO, and the Alchemist to name a few but who makes great beer and slides under the cracks? After having Float Wit Beer at American Fresh Boynton Yards I would have to go with Slumbrew. Float to me was as every bit as drinkable as Whirlpool. Every beer I have had from them has been on point. They have made great beers from every style they have had their hands on.

In my opinion it's Foundation. Epiphany is already starting to garner the attention it deserves as a top tier IPA out of New England, but all there offerings that I've had the privilege to try (Forge, Zuurzig, Burnside, Wanderlust) have been outstanding.

Foley Brothers should be in the conversation.

zero gravity, they've been around a while, but only recently opened their production facility. fresh, affordable cans and always something interesting in the tap room.

Beer'd, I've been extremely impressed with them each time I've visited. If they were in a more accessible spot & canning I've got a feeling they'd get a bit more love.

Still is kinda. Bunch of Hill Farmstead caliber saisons (yeah I said it) still just shelf turding around out there.

There's a lot of good names in this thread, but for me it's Enlightenment and it's not close.

Smuttynose - fairly inexpensive and lots of offerings. For those who don't want to break the bank or stand in line with hipsters and other annoying types.

Prohibition Pigs beers are getting better too. Try the Bantam Double IPA.

Brewmaster Jack is putting out some fine IPAs.

I can also agree with Foley Brothers, Proclamation, and Lost Nation.

I second this. I was in and out with growlers last week in 5 minutes and their IPA's are right up there with Tree House. Dogs & Boats might be my favorite IPA period and I've tried nearly all the 'big boys'.

Outside of CT I think Portland as a beer destination is way underrated when compared with all the VT hype. When you have Allagash, Bissell, Foundation, and Austin Street less than a football field away from each other you have a pretty solid beer scene. That doesn't even include the 4-5 other breweries within the city.

Foundation? Underrated? Which Beer Advocate are you reading? Only qualifies for someone not mentioning Epiphany (which is one of their great beers).

Four Quarters in Winooski. Everything Brian puts out is top notch.
