Just out of curiosity what is Caliente bringing to the table in this collaboration? They arent a brewery so what is their involvement? If its just coming up with the idea, I would like to collaborate with some breweries.

This does sound like it could have some potential. Sour stouts can be polarizing, but if done well the balance between the two styles works well, especially with the fruit aspect involved.

Was wondering the same thing RE what exactly Caliente is bringing to the table.

Probably similar to Box Office Beer Review's involvement in the Margot "collab".

No clue on involvement. They do probably have a deal to get a fair amount of kegs they can sell by the snifter for $10 a pour though.

I just took it as the owner of caliente is a homebrewer, and they brainstormed together, then made a beer with DL resources, in return Caliente hypes it and hosts it. Maybe I'm giving too much credit? Idk.

The bottom inch and a half of the bottles will be solid glass, labeled as 500ml bottles filled with only 375ml of beer.

The owner of Caliente doesn't drink, from what I'm told.

Thank you, but I have a very busy life. And from what I remember of your beer, it's very good.

I would if I hadn't gotten peanut butter on it while eating dinner/breakfast in the shower at 2:30am. Busy, I tell you!

EDIT: ...while I was also...drinking a local Pittsburgh craft beer?
