More cryptic messages from the Vodooo IG account. Maybe a BBQ sauce/burger beer? Or a waffle beer?

From that list I've only had the Saison. I enjoyed the few bottles I had, but it is very tart and has kind of a watery finish. Nothing like the mouthfeel and balance of Sante Adairius (which are also on the more tart end of the saison spectrum). They have been selling the Saison for a couple of years now though, so Batch 1 and 2 would be interesting to try. I've also had East Bank, Brett Loves Citra and a couple of the Fruit Stands, and they were all solid.

When I was in Denver last month I seriously considered driving all the way to Glenwood Springs for a bottle release at a brewery, so I would definitely go to this.

Turns out there's a limit to how many posts I can read about how long the line is at Trillium/Tree House/Zwanze/etc.

You can just admit that you miss this shit show!

Have you had anything that you think we should seek out beer wise?

Trillium, but everyone knows that. I have really enjoyed the non-IPA stuff though that doesn't get as much attention. It's a pretty short bike ride from my place so I stop by every time they start selling something new. The Raspberry Lineage Wheat was amazing, I wish I had dragged Sam with me to that one for an extra bottle.

I had a few really good IPAs and Pales from a brewery called Garrison City in Dover, NH. Right now I think they just do crowlers but are planning to bottle. I stopped by the brewery last week after trying it at a bar here and not everything was great, but the Mosaic Pale and Khaos IPA are good. Not sure about seek out from afar good, but solid.

I've been to Tree House a couple of times. I've liked everything but I don't get the hype over it. The Eureka series may be the most enjoyable I've tried. I stopped at the brewery on my way up from Pittsburgh and got Julius for the first time and was actually kind of relieved that I didn't like it enough to feel like I had to drive back out there for it again.

I feel like everything here that is any good is already over-hyped. Most of the stuff that I've had from smaller/lesser known breweries has been pretty boring. I can think of enjoying Captain's Daughter from Gray Sail and Ever Weisse from Night Shift, and that might be it as far as smaller places. That said, I haven't been here all that long and I've been dialing back my normal beer budget on account of being unemployed, so this may not be a totally fair assessment.

    So we are basically dopple(bock)gangers.

Also- if you get a chance to get to RI (short Amtrak ride from S Station), check out Proclamation. Its like 50 yards from the Kingston Amtrak station. And their beers are tit.

I enjoyed Captain's Daughter more than anything I've had from Trillium or Tree House. That's a great beer.

Everything about CEC sucks. What a disappointment. Was pleasantly surprised by the fall choices st PNC in the new LF beer bar though

PBR over Banquet any day of the week. Though the $11 24oz cans is a bit much.

I gave pens season tickets and think a had one beer in the past 8 years in both of the arenas. To pricey and crappy selection.

I have season tickets too. In the winter, I have this parka that has an enormous hood and can fit two tallboys. I've snuck in Heady, Nugget Nectar, Sip of Sunshine, Two Hearted, and plenty others. I hope no one from security is reading this.
