Could be. The "humor" of younger generations is certainly lost on me.

    It's a South Park reference.

That would explain it. Haven't watched that in probably 15 years. Wasn't aware anybody outside of Voodoo ever made references to that show anymore.

Anybody else make the trek to the magical land of Butler to check out Reclamation? Hoping to pop in there sometime this Saturday.

I didnt give it a go since I had just finished my impromptu hoppy beer tasting at BG. Figured I would be the best judge of a porter after that. Ended up taking a growler of the Clown party as it was quite delicious. The CPA was on point as well, but dare I say it was cloudy as hell. Nothing wrong with that just an observation I thought I would point out. Was really let down by the Akamai and LOU. I know that both of these have been on tap now for a while, and I think it is starting to show a bit. Again they were not bad, although the LOU had some strange flavor notes coming through. The flavors of both just seemed muted to me, whereas the the flavors of the Clown Party and CPA were really crisp and clean and really popped.

In retrospect, I regretted getting LOU in lieu of Clown Party. The taster I had of Clown Party was better than the 750 of Lou I drank last night.

I just noticed that I haven't had the Clown Party either. Man you miss a week and all the sudden you end up 10 beers behind at BG

Had CPA, Lou and Clown Party, grabbing the latter over the others for the growler, because it was my easy favorite that day. Did Mr. Automatic replace Mexican Coffee? I didn't see it on Sunday, but enjoyed the MC.

No. I think it replaced either Business Casual or Build and Destroy? Mexican Coffee was still on.

Mr. Automatic......missed that one as well.

I am most looking forward to the BA Mexican Coffee. I guess i am the only one who thinks some of the IPA's are getting a little same same. That isn't a knock on them, I just have my limit of IPA's and getting excited about another one on tap.

So they are barrel aging it for a year or so. That's good news, since it seems there's a lot of place out there doing the 4 day barrel aging program

Agreed. I also think a lot of places put shit beer into a barrel and hope that it all the sudden becomes a monster.

BG seems to have their shit together, that is for sure.

I love how Shubrew instantly came to mind. I am interested to hear how much barrel character there is to this since we talked about their aging only being 2 weeks.
