Sorry I'm late on responding to this...but I love me a good PSUMike rant...

The solution to all your woes, obviously, is to de-verify (un-verify?)...then you won't have access to the forums any more and they won't piss you off

Also - why is a PM not appropriate? As far as I'm aware, there aren't additional words available to you in the public forums than in the private ones...the only logical reason I can come up with for your preference of one over the other is that you'd like a wider audience?

(which one is the tongue in cheek smiley?)

Wait, it is? Do you mean "Vermont-style"? Because I see that as different from old school east coast IPA.

Can't wait to cross off firkin Pumking from the beer bucket list.

If that is 2x dry hopped Two Hearted like the last fest, damn that beer was incredible.

Well there's the answer to the "collaboration" question concerning the plague

Not a big brown ale guy, but tried Hash Brown by Sweetwater last night. Thought it was very good.

In person? Or can I e-slouch entry from my sofa?

My biggest complaint about Real Ale Fest, the pours were too big. I must have dumped at least 48oz of beer. I don't know if they undersold tickets or purposefully made it a low-key engagement. The longest I waited for everything from beer, to food (which was as delicious as it was abundant), to bathrooms was approximately seven seconds.

    Best beers for me:
Long Trail Smash (w/ Galaxy and whatever the fuck "pilsner hops" are) - my favorite IPA of the night.
Mexican Coffee (w/ Habanero) - minimal heat but damn that pepper flavor works in this. I had at least 12oz of it.
Troegs Dead Reckoning - no explanation necessary

This is probably one of the worst things I've ever said but firkin "Pumpking" (it was spelled wrong at the table, too) was pretty tasty. Worst beer by far was dry-hopped Pumpkick.

Walked out the door at 9:15 (45 minutes early) because I had had enough of everything I wanted (at one point sampled all but 2 beers) and wanted to beat game traffic. I got my $55 worth for sure.

Going on a "retreat" (idk what the fuck that even means) for halloween with my woman's work. some cabin in the woods.
any of the following breweries worth stopping at en route to/from?

    Four Seasons - LaTrobbe
    White Horse - Berlin <--- a stretch
All Saints - Greenberg (appropriate timing)
Helltown - Mt. Pleasant. <--- haven't liked their stuff thus far. But who knows...

A lot of people have good things to say about helltown IPAs. I'm a firm "meh".

Think this one should be popping up in cans pretty soon, if not already.

@Stigs Pretty sure the SMaSH is just Galaxy & pilsner malt - do you think that's what they meant?
