    lol nice we have the NILE rodeo in town and a couple big parties showed up an hour until we closed, my group treated me very well but then the dishwasher walked out so a couple of us chipped in to help

    Still recovering from jet lag as we landed in Seattle today, for a nice extended vacation and some brewery tours/bottle shops. I've already bought way too much so I've gotta drink a good amount before we return. :wink:

    On Pacific time so I realize a lot of you may be nightcapping by now :slight_smile:

    Here's my first offering tonight :

    A nice Oregon brewery!! This beer was fabulous.


    Review :

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4

    Bought on vacation in Seattle, WA, $1.19 in a singles cooler.

    Look : A very festive autumn brown/copper colored body, 30% opaque. The popcorn colored head starts off colossal, like a lovely IPA. 3 fingers tall, rocky, and fluffy.

    Smell : Lots of baked and caramelized malts, barley, with a faint hint of pumpkin flesh. A little nutmeg, clove, allspice.

    Taste : A fantastic balance of caramel malts and hop. It ying yangs quite well in the beer, and it starts sweet, but follows with a punch of rind-y hop, and a strong presence of allspice. The finish leaves a delicate lingering bitterness that is pleasant for several seconds after the swallow.

    Feel : Medium bodied, very creamy, and mild carbonation. Ends with a hanging dryness. The feel can't get much better here.

    Overall : What a nice beer. These guys in the PNW know how to brew. I'd gladly have it again and will probably go back to it at this price.
