    Back again!



    Had to have some of that Jai Alai! It's 4 weeks old, but couldn't be any worse than that last canning date of 09/02; that was just plain OFF!

    It's really weird how hard it is to find uber fresh Jai Alai around here right now.:confused: Oh, well this is tasting like it should and it's still in my top 5 IPA's!

    River North's J Marie Whiskey Barrel aged saison. Don't know what the "J" stands for, but the is very good. The whiskey isn't overpowering, the base saison is flavorful. Very well balanced. Cheers for Friday night!

    Three Floyds Arctic Panzer Wolf DIPA. This is the freshest I've had this beer in a while. Forgot how fruity and dry it really is. It's FFF take on a west coast DIPA and it doesn't disappoint. Great stuff.

    This is a really excellent copper ale. Maybe the only thing that comes close to Old Mecklenburg Copper for me. Glad I picked up a sixpack of it.

    Doesn't have quite the complexity as the other trappist ales, but pretty damn good nonetheless. Maybe in a couple of hundred years we'll see them brewing beer as good as Rochefort. :wink:
