BCBS is a go to for me come winter.

If I could pick a realistic one...probably Expedition Stout. 12 oz format. Not over the top in ABV. Consistently awesome.

Big BW's and Stouts tend to come into my home in greater numbers when the snow flies.

Old Rasputin, Ten Fidy, Old Chub, Dirty Bastard... the boozier and the more malt driven the better.

Anything dark, rich and complex. I prefer bigger beers that encourage slow sipping. I like to experience the progression of warming up and how that change the character of the beer. Sitting on a Stone Espresso IRS that I can't wait to get into when we finally get some snow.

I gave this a lot of thought and I've come to one conclusion. It's gotta be an IPA  Preferably a DIPA. Cheers, brother.

This year is going to be Jubelale once it comes back out

With how sharp the Chicago winters can be I make sure to stock up on heftier porters and winter warmers once it gets closer to the turn of the year

That Plead the 5th by Dark Horse is good and I just had VooDoo Brewing's Cowbell. I guess I like those dark ones, but I like that even if it is not winter.

I know Leinenkugel is a little cheaper than most craft, but $12 a case?...that can't be right
