Did the green beer turn you off? I'll try a different one.

Big Steve is my mule, bud, drinking partner, bottle share, beer fest, football game, best friend. Not necessarily in that order. You can all thank him for many Florida beers.

#VBS - I won't lie to you all... BA Fidy is freaking delicious. However, I may be biased because the base beer is one of my five desert island beers....

    Cheers!

Great times @Mipper's house for the pumpkin (not really as we opened all kinds of crazy stuff) beer share. Came away with beer from @Dave_Treat, @Tertullian007 and @ohyeahitsmuff...thanks again guys! Awesome to see some familiar faces and to get some new handshake ticks. Special shout out to @lefty17 for providing the Black Gold and Hose that were big hits!

Kind of not fair as we came to Green Bay primarily as Packers fans exploring an amazing city (dude housing us knows every single mover and shaker in GB, it's crazy) and beer was secondary. We did hit up Titletown Brewery and I know I hit 8 new ticks there alone.

Was gonna like for you looking out for grandpa but the shirt wouldn't allow it. Sorry for your loss Mike.

Two things before I pass out:

    1. @whyteboy003 is the real deal. Dude brought the heat with beer and is an incredibly cool guy to drink with. He kicked my ass in darts and billiards tonight.

    2. You accountants and number freaks will love this one. We were describing ticking and how many beers we have had logged in Untappd to our hosts. They had dinner tonight (with Bart Starr Jr (name dropper!)) and they described the ticking phenomenon to their accountant friends. They instantly started breaking down how many beers per day it would take to get where we are. Stupid story thought of you analytical geniuses.

I was gonna say "I'm not an accountant but I wouldn't be above doing something like that..." then I went back and re-read the first sentence of #2 and was like "oh"

...a bit too early for me right now

Just wanted to thank @Mipper for his generosity and hospitality. great night with a ton of new handshake ticks. tried to give away beer as I was leaving but as soon as I hand beer to someone, they would hand me one back. and I was not allowed out of the house until I took 4 pumpkin beers.

and let me tell you about @Tertullian007 - never knew he even existed and he hands me 3 bottles of jackie o's dark apparition. it will be my first jackie o's beer yet.

beyond the beer, it was a great time meeting everyone. hope to see you all again soon.

No worries, man. The brief deer in headlights look in your eyes when I said "good to see you again" was well worth not being remembered. Of course if it happens again, it is grounds for a junk punch.
@Mipper , thanks so much for opening your house and your cellar to a bunch of degenerates. Beer, food and company were all top notch.

    Sacrilege.

    Sorry for your loss.

Keep that Buckeye stuff quiet next week. :stuck_out_tongue:

Since I can't say it better, I'll quote it. Thanks @Mipper! You are the man.

It was a genuine pleasure to see the rest of you(again or for the first time.). I, of course, came home with more beer than I brought. And for that, I hate to love you guys.

Also, @UcDru, you should have gotten a small package yesterday. Yes?

Thanks very much to @Mipper for his sub-par hospitality (I mean really, what kind of host attends to all his guests, long-time friends, family; instead of catering exclusively to the ones he met on the internet..... sheesh). There was also a very large quantity of food, some pretty awesome chili and pulled pork, and my first try of shrimp and grits (I'm sold). I've had it said to me before to "let me know anything in my cellar you wanna open" but no one has ever gone so far out of their way or tried so hard to actually make that happen. This should surprise no one that knows the man, but @Mipper truly is one of the most giving people I know.

It of course was also awesome to see again so many people I've met through beer, this was easily the largest share I've attended where I somehow didn't meet a single new person, which was strange and amazing at the same time.

I also was the benefactor of some generosity from a few attendees, and actually one who didn't make it; thanks again @RuckIt for the #pickitup! and thanks also to @Tertullian007, @Dave_Treat, and whoever brought the four pumpkin beers I was forced to take as a condition on being allowed to leave.

Someone has photos of the group, which to me is the more important shot, but I couldn't leave without taking a bottle killshot either...

ps - @Mipper, I thought you might want this back. Now you just have to find it.
