I don't mean this in a bad way, but if you threw a couple of volcanoes or ghosts in that music video, it would look exactly like a movie my five year old son would have directed.

I just got back from a week of Cicerone training in St. Louis. Of course I went to Side Project a couple times. I was fortunate enough to try Foedre beer, Marietta Ave., Saison du Ble Blend 4, Black and Wild Blend 2, and Unlabeled Blend 2. Cheers!

Good morning, BAs, and happy New Beer Saturday! I'm going to be traveling all Sunday (~16 hours between driving, flying, and sitting in airports), so I don't think I'm going to have much time for sharing my beers. Fortunately, I have had plenty of time for debauchery on the front half of this weekend. Getting my morning started with:

Russian River STS Pils. Thanks, Jay!

This follows a ten-beer-stop World Peace Through Beer hash last night. That was fun!

    Cheers, BAs!

Good morning BAs. Been awhile - my old man's fight with cancer is nearing the end - so I've been busy. Gonna enjoy this day of football, family and brew. Cheers.

Lol. I agree. It's 80's glam band cheese at its very best. This album was actually really good, but they come around just when 80's hair bands were starting to die out

Triple S Brewing porter, IPA (no 'named beers' for their line yet, brand new brewery in Colorado Springs, CO) last night - thought the porter was the highlight after tasting their saison, amber, blonde steam beer (interesting). Solid for a place that just opened. Had some light pub grub too.
Then on to Brewer's Republic, where I got to try this year's Deschutes Chasin' Freshies (solid, nothing that memorable) before moving on to the Crooked Stave's Hop Savant Centennial (AWESOME), and finishing with Stone Enjoy by DIPA (also good). CS's Hop Savant stood out as one of the better beers I've had in months. Will have to seek out in bottle. Cheers...

Well now - my like minded geeks - it appears you're all getting your day started the right way. We're kicking off my woman's birthday Saturday with some Founders. Cheers all!

Good morning BAs! It's a beautiful day in scummy Pennsylvania - so far no rain but it's coming. My neighbor's oak is shedding heavily although most of the leaves are still green so it looks like another day in the gutters with more to come. My ginko's leaves are turning yellow so any day all of them will drop at once. The sycamore and apple trees have been shedding right along so they're under control. I dislike autumn nearly as much as winter! Today's Breakfast Beer is:

Sorry to hear. The only advantage to this type of situation is that you've got some prep time but that still only makes it marginally better. I'll drink one for him.
