The best thing about Celebration, aside from its drinkability, etc. is that it's always readily available and is distributed more than one time. So...I can buy a 12 pack when it first comes out and another one when I finish the first 12. And a third 12 pack to last into the spring.

I just saw a bunch of this, so Georgia definitely has some now.

Funny but not true. I do drink and enjoy other beers during Celebration season.

He's not overthinking, he's just pointing out that 90% of the industry (especially up here in the PNW) use Fresh and Wet interchangeably. Ft George has a "wet" hop IPA that is called FRESH IPA. Wet hop events out here are typically called FRESH HOP events.

SN is technically correct with their definition, its just the rest of the industry that has coopted the two phrases which leads to confusion.

I'll have to stop by the store. A great go-to IPA.

Does anyone know if SN make Celebration available in kegs?

I'd definitely buy it. Old Celebration holds up really well.

Yes, it's available in kegs, at least in previous years it has been.

My favorite beer they make...in regular rotation. I wait anxiously for it every year. But don't sit on them. They tend to spoil very quickly.

That's most certainly not my experience. Quite the opposite, actually.

Usually when i buy my last 12 pack of the season, the hop flavor and aroma is quite different than my first. I guess the beer doesn't "spoil" but changes drastically.

Can't wait until this hits the shelves. This will hold me over until Nugget Nectar. :grinning:

One of the few beers that I actually look forward to its release every single year. It's become somewhat of a tradition at this point for me. Best bang for your buck of any IPA IMO.

It would, this year would have been perfect as it's the 25th anniversary of Celebration

Maybe it's due to the bottle conditioning??? I find that it holds up pretty well over time, as do most SN beers.
