Probably a good call with the edit, Buffalo Bill
I love how that song has endured & kind of stood on it's own almost despite being associated with such an iconic film (Demme's best, in my opinion)

Moving into the lower strength Burton Ale with Theakston's Old Peculier (5.6%) - from Yorkshire, where the Burton Ales do tend to be further down on the strength scale, as you also have Timothy Taylor's Ram Tam (4.3%), coincidentally the first cask ale I ever tried, back when I was new to drinking in 2011 at the tender age of 18.
This one is darker, with a slightly less full-body but a better head (again, typical of the north of England, the head of a pint is very important up there). The sweetness has moved down into just a hint in the undertone, with dark fruit coming forward, and hints of darker malt, appearing with some crispy bitterness at the end.

Pour from my growler of Stickney Kriek by Hermit Thrush Brewery. Puckeringly sour cherries makes a nice contrast to all the malt forward stuff I've been consuming lately.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Mets being World Champs.

Happy Birthday! I thought for sure that I had this brew in the past, but I did not have a review of it. Definitely would like to try this one out someday.

    Cheers!

Hey again, BA's! Now almost 7 here in dark, drizzly NOVA & that Moving Parts moved pretty quickly. I'm on to this here:
Quick disclaimer (& I think most VA BA's will agree): Starr Hill kinda sucks at brewing flavored beer. I was really hoping for a pleasant surprise here, but sadly, this brew just ain't bringin' it.
Think maraschino cherry dipped in cheap milk chocolate, with all the robust body of an extra-crappy Baltic Porter. This beer is nothing that it claims to be. There's even a delightful Pepto-Bismol finish.
    Bummer, man...

    Cheers!
