Is it bad I gave that beer a 3.75? For me means the bottom end of drinkable again. :astonished:. I like Spicy Pumpkin beers though....

It's all good, brother! To my palate, the flavors seem artificial & poorly-integrated - to yours, it's a drinkable, spice-forward pumpkin Porter. Neither of us is 'wrong' or 'right' - 'tis the beauty of beer advocacy :-)
    Cheers!

No picture, but I cracked a 32oz growler of Trillum's Artaic at lunch and plan on killing that before moving on to something else.

Ok, unto the next Turkey Day beer, one that actually does fit:

Redd's Apple Ale. I'm not sure which is clearer, the beer or the bottle it came in. Actually still some very light carbonation in this 2.5 year old "brew." Nose is apple juice with a whiff of vinegar. Tastes like what my nephews' used to have in their sippy cups. There's perhaps a resemblance to an overly sugary semi-sweet white wine.

Truthfully, for what this is supposed to be, this is relatively less bad than my first entry today. But as an actual ale - it's a good appl juice.

I have to be honest -- I've been a little disconnected from Beer Advocate in the last few months. I've even changed my drinking habits and have cut my drinking down to Saturday nights and Sunday mornings only so I have a limited window to post and connect. As the beer gods would have it, my cable was spotty this morning so I had to watch my Premier League match live on my iphone at 9 a.m. and that meant breaking my new rules.

This post is a tribute to @LeperJim ... I actually only have one bad turkey beer left, so I'm drinking it out of the Duvel glass. I'll drink the whole thing, although I have to say Jim followed protocol with the Corona Light. I drink a lot of crap beer, but even I wouldn't want more that three drops of that. Let's see if Dos Equis Ambar fairs better in extravagant glassware?!?!

It looks like a dirty penny, with surprisingly good head retention! Must be the glass. Light lacing. Aroma is caramel sweetness and aluminum. Taste follows the aroma, Like drinking wet cardboard slathered with caramel and aluminum sprinkles. Mouthfeel is metallic. Overall, I actually used to really like this beer, but as with most beers like this, they get worse the more you get away from them. The Duvel glass did gives it a nice appearance and it accentuated the metallic components

I will try my best to join in tonight for MST3K but the worst beer I have right now is Great Divide Hibernation Ale lol
