    Hiya, BA's! Almost 3:30 here in partly-cloudy NOVA & I've spent the last hour or so trying to get psyched up enough to grab my next turkey beer. Tried...& failed... I need a tasty beer! So, I'm currently treating myself to a non-turkey brew:

    I always love this one, but it's tasting extra-good after the horrible things that I've done to my taste buds today :-)

    I'll be back with more turkeys later, but at least I can post some turkey tunes now:

    It really is this blurry in real life; it seems to be fading away in front of my eyes. :wink:
    But, that's not so bad, you say, however-

    Yeah, it's way past the point where its own leaves have fallen. And it ain't growing any new ones, either.

    I felt it was appropriate to drink this one straight from the bottle. The flavor is heavy on the cabbage and stale bread, with a slight whiff of skunk thrown in for good measure. Something else is in there, something from my distant path...

    Oh yeah! This is what many a 'good' beer tasted like when I was 18! Man, that brings me back. I'm filling up with snotty arrogance, recklessness, clueless ignorance, obnoxiousness, and all of those other youthful qualities. It's invigorating!!! I wonder just how long this will last- long enough to finish the bottle, that's for sure. Who needs flavor, amirite?!!

    Here's a song that just may be a little fucked up. Just a little...

    Excellent choice, I'd just picked that out from the fridge to take to Mojave Natl Preserve for Thanksgiving in the middle of nowhere... (along with a Rumpkin, BA Shipwrecked Porter, Lost Abbey Deliverance and probably a few more - going to be cold out there.

    I remember how the band defended that song to the end and then doubled down and played it live. :astonished: Saw them on that tour numerous times and it was annoying every time. Spectacular show otherwise.
