Nice with the Isis. Panopticon is my favorite album of theirs. Cheers! \m/

As my kids would say "my bad." I need to figure out how to respond to a post that is a response to another post.

Hell yes Ralph Records! Residents, Snakefinger and MX-80 Sound were 3 of my favorites from Ralph.
This is actually an import. But I'd have to look around to find some Ralph![IMG]

Ah! Finally one we "disagree" on the other way. Though not a true turkey, I was not a big fan of this year's Sensi, got a light vinegar-like vibe from it. GF finished them for us .

I've really enjoyed reading this thread today. It made my long over half day at work more tolerable.

Now on to a turkey beer

I got this almost 2 years ago. It was terrible then. I wonder what aging does to it? I would wager not much good.

There is minimal carbonation to this beer, and what appears goes away quickly. It's got a nice dark amber color to it. The nose, well, uh, it smells like a sour beer would smell, and this isn't a sour beer.

Taste - imagine a 100 degree summer day. Imagine a football team practicing. Imagine all the sweat. Imagine putting that sweat into a glass. That's what you get with this beer, aged. The second sip isn't any better. I think my drain is going to drink the rest of this putrid beer.

Look what I found! Sorry this is my first entry. I've been busy all day, but I think this one is the winner.

Poured clear dark orange and has a nose like a fine English barleywine. Very bland taste, with almost zero carbonation. Opted for a mini of this because I'm not sure I would have made it through the whole bottle. If I don't post in the next couple days, I might be in some serious pain, or dead! Or I might be working, starting tomorrow morning.
    Cheers all!

OK- I'm starting to get the couch area ready. Can o'DVDs is open and sorted. Plus, I'm getting into the swing of things again, beer-wise!

I'll probably going to phone-app mode soon. Less than 30 min. and counting.

I go upstairs to use the restroom and I see my four-year-old daughter peaking out of her room with the light on an hour after she should have been asleep. I ask her why she is still up. She tells me her necklace broke while she was trying to untangle it and she needs me to fix it. So what do I do? While scolding her for being out of bed, I spend 20 minutes fixing a $1 necklace by stringing beads on a piece of elastic to see the smile on her face when I'm done. What is it about daughters? Don't think I would do that for my son, nor would he care. Kills me.
