I raised two daughters so understand. Just to let you know that once they are grown up (teenage years sucked), they are wonderful people.

Pre-review mead: Rebel Jack Cristo cyser. This was really damn good! Light-medium floral/earthy honey; with huge complex notes of balanced sweet/tart apples. Very dry with some light tannic/acidic lingering notes after the finish. Well hidden ABV for 13.6%; warming finish, but still very smooth and drinkable. Really impressive with a ton of complexity all around from both apples and honey. They used a fresh pressed blend of Local MI apple varieties; stated to be Jonathan, Gala, and honeycrisp. Honey was from a local MI apiary as well. It took me a bit to truly appreciate dry meads, there really aren't that many out there being made. They are definitely harsher on the palate than the dessert variety, but I really enjoy them now. Rebel Jack's only other mead is a blueberry/currant melomel, also dry. I had it a few weeks ago, which made me go find this one.

    Reviews:

Great IPA! Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, and pine; with some light honey/bready malt presence and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/citrus rind bitterness; with a very smooth/crisp finish with moderate lingering sticky/resins in the mouthfeel with no astringency. Really dry finish from bitterness as well. Zero complaints at all. Tons of big bright and dank hop complexity across the board, with a solid pale malt foundation with minimal contribution to the overall flavors. Nothing but hops.

Delicious fruited lactose IPA. Aromas and flavors of tart raspberries, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, peach, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with some moderate honey/bready malt, light vanilla/cream, and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish; with a great balanced tart/bitter/sweet finish with some light-moderate creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Very smooth and drinkable; with great tropical/citrusy hop complexity against the tart raspberry fruit notes. Zero complaints. Damn good.

WOW! Aromas and flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, caramel, toffee, toasted dark bread, light smoke/char, and a touch of licorice/raisin fruitiness; with light-moderate chili pepper spice and lightly building heat on the finish as you go through the glass. Great bittersweet roasted finish; with a great full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel with light pepper spice stickiness as well. Very smooth sipping for 12%, with zero booziness and mainly only pepper heat lingering after the finish. I absolutely loved this one. The base Imperial stout is absolutely incredible and highly complex; and the pepper flavors have a nice kick on the finish but are not overwhelming. Amazing beer!

Central Waters nails it. I was leery when I first picked up Space Ghost, not many good pepper beers out there really. The price was good and it was Central Waters though. Sure enough, they killed it.
