    Was excited and nervous to unwrap this morning as the gift wrap had 'Good Luck' written on it...

    Aaaaaaand, I might need it. Every since I started seeing this beer light up the trade boards and the impressions of some of the folks in the thread, it shot up to the top of my Wants. Awesome to finally get to try it! Expect drunk posts from me tonight

    Not my fault, you had to have them both on your wants list and being old I couldn't make a decision, so I had to send them both, for my own health reasons. ...enjoy

    Day 1 - I woke up violently ill this morning but this made me feel better (if I can't have it today, I plan on sharing it tomorrow with whatever is in store for day 2.

    This is why I love the Locals. I never heard of this beer or brewery before (sorry!) and, when I search the beer,I find out what a great beer this is. Thank you @vitaminvert for this beautiful monster. Looking forward to crack it open.

    Hopefully you feel better! By tomorrow at least. If you have to combine Days 1-3, my lawyers (@Syracuse12 ) tell me this could get ugly...not responsible for drunken motor-boating of the gravy dish.

    Man, I am getting antsy. 2 hours to go before I get my day 1 beer. And in style like Matt does most things (remember the jorts), he is hand delivering to me. I fucking can't wait for dat handshake. 2 in 2 days!

    Should also add--went to What the Funk festival this year. Shitshow of a fest, lines out the wazoo. Tried some delicious stuff including BB Cake, Veritas, Fen Tao, Side Project, etc. With about 2 hours left in the festival and my nerves frayed as hell, @Kramerbarthomer and I apparently had the same idea bumping into each other: No line at AC Golden? Ctayt all night long. One of the only redeeming qualities of the festival for me. I hope you enjoy!

    Ditto this. I had to do the thankless work of clearing space in my beer fridge to fit them all, ugh.

    Haven't peeked at my day 1 beer from @dwmetsfan13 yet, but I'm pumped to crack into it as soon as I get home from work!

    Day 1 6'er Reverse Hint as I peaked this morning.

    Day 1 from @robgage is a perma-permawant of mine. I think I've only ever had a couple 12oz bottles with varying degrees of freshness. This dude is a magician. This bomber was released November 13, traveled halfway across the country to New England, and then all the way to Colorado by November 19th. #NipsFresh

    Can you guess what I'll be solo-doming (and biting anyone who tries to steal a sip) tonight???
