Promised some **** from my meet up with Matt. He dumped this on me, knowing I wad flying and not checking bags, so....had to finish them. Little honest, had some help from my brother.

Day 1! I went with HEAVY since I'm off work tomorrow, and opened this WANT. Thanks @PassMeAZima ! Already looking forward to the other five. This one is gonna take me some time to finish, good thing the Flyers start in an hour. Good think I'm ok with drinking slowly and just really enjoying a beer. Nice and boozy, though I don't get much coffee outside of a little bit on the finish. Really enjoying this though, and only a few sips in so far.

 

Also a special hand delivery for day 1. A want, and it didn't disappoint. Very black in the pour, almost oil like. Huge chocolate and coffee in both smell and taste. I get a hint of vanilla, my brother gets a hint of dark fruit. Either way, this is fabulous.

 

32oz should get you three check-ins if Im not mistaken.

Sooo, day 1 it is. Knowing that my sender happens to be a member of some sort of a 'Society' , and by the size of days 1-3's bottles.. I had a felling @twofacedmonster monster was gonna try to kill me (or have the MC kill me!) On with the show before the MC gets home!


Of course, after ripping the top portion I see #datwax! I guess it's on like donkey kong tonight! I can't remember the wax colors but since it happens to be Wednesday... one can only assume.

Wow! Big coffee, roasty, sweet, and nice barrel! Definitely has to be a Mocha Wednesday.



I was right. Thanks a million Bryan! A new tick, a want, a fabulous beer! I even threw your favorite NFL player in the pic.

Jawn of the Dead sour from intangible ales. New brewery for me. Right up my alley, sour wise. And 6.66 ABV!

Also the label is 3D and my daughter modeled the glasses it came with

I'll unwrap Day 2 early tomorrow, and decide whether to drink it early before our 2 hour ride south (I'm a passenger) or save it for when I get home...

 

Just got back from a quick VT trip and had this guy from @JasonR1975 waiting for day 1



This was one of my biggest wants outside of whale-y types and it's awesome that I'm drinking it on day 1. Can't wait to open the other 5 bottles. Thanks Jason!
