The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

Not as bad as a I had feared, although it was a bit rough to get the last of the beer down. Smells amazing at room temperature. And my fiance's family is late coming in from Boston, so I got a bit of a reprieve. I'm not the most alert person right now between this beer and Bourbon County from yesterday. Interested to see tomorrow's beer.

Been dealing with a sick toddler basically on my own since Thursday afternoon but I keep pushing through these awesome beer @lefty17 sent.

I've had a few bottles of this but always passed them off to others who had it as a want, guess it's finally time to try one!

Day 4 beer from @LehighAce06



First barrel aged beer from Hardywood. Light bourbon, hop bite in the finish, caramel and raisins, slight sherry-like oxidation - tasty, but slow sipper.

 

So I'm assuming this is going in the calendar?

-TuppaWaelz!!! This is a BA Behemoth that will be traveling onward soon with a new BA beer in it once it can be Orca-strated Burley Oak Dry Hopped Sour (yes and yes!)
-Stillwater Artisinal Ales Classique (new tick, sounds good)

Day 4 beer from @UTvols05 . Wasn't sure what to expect from this, very nice sour stout. Like it a lot.

 

Don't be quite so modest man. Composition and lighting are tough man, and you nail them.

 

So for what it's worth, my wife just looked at me disgustedly and said "what, exactly, are you doing?"

 

Fairly certain that I've almost never sent a box without WW, especially now that they bottle a decent amount of stuff. This round was tough though. So much I wanted to put in the box and couldn't fit!
