I'm glad I stumbled across this. I wouldn't have gotten had two other people ask for it. First Grimm beer I've gotten. Super delicious.

None left, but(!) they reloaded the BCBS stash, and they have a few interesting things behind the On Tap counter, like FW Agrestic. Also, they were putting out 4-packs and singles of the Lawson's/OC colab Double or Nothing.

Glad I got my Cloudbusting earlier at M&H.

Cloudbusting is really tasty, this needs to be reviewed side by side with Tree House Alter Ego, and Trillium Galaxy Dry hopped Fort Point. @dar482 I can provide the Alter Ego!

haha the Wai-iti in Cloudbusting is wonderful and strange but i don't think it has the INTENSITY of the mosaic/amarillo and galaxy of those beers... it's a much gentler hop

Definitely a tasty beer. Not as good as afterimage and I didn't get a chance to try tesseract. And I agree, the wai-iti gives it such a unique flavor. Waiting for Dar to review and see what he says

I agree Cloudbusting is more elegant in the display of that weird and wonderful characteristic. Though they are in the same vein to say the least.

    Wow. @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales
Amazing DIPA. Pineapple and tangerine....a little mango and papaya. Citrus bomb and I love it. Absolutely love the clouded, murky yellow color too. Just a great beer, like the other 3 DIPAs. Take a bow, you guys deserve it.

Had Cloudbusting side-by-side with Tesseract tonight, almost hard to believe they are the same style of beer. Both are amazing representations of what can be done under the DIPA heading. Would be great education pieces for beer novices as they debunk the assumption that DIPA = super hoppy = palate wrecking bitterness. When can I fill my growler...

i dont get this at all honestly to be honest...alter ego/galaxy ddhfppa are entirely different. i get a huge white wine/heavy sweetness out of cloudbusting that is entirely different than the TH/trillium stuff...

They are different in most regards, but what I meant was they have a similar hop flavor that comes across to me. Which surprised me since the hop bills are different. I do get the sweet pear and white wine flavors in Cloudbusting that you don't find in the other two.

Had Cloudbusting tonight. I thought it was a fantastic beer but with all Grimm IPAs I've had so far, I find the bitterness underwhelming for a DIPA. It tasted like white wine aged fruit juice, which was quite awesome, but I really wish there was more bitterness.

That being said, I'll be buying more cans if I am lucky enough to come across them.

Fantastic event at Whole Foods Columbus Circle tonight. I especially appreciate the tapping of the Echoplex at the end. I came for the beer, but the food was better than expected. I am looking forward to the next event and of course the forthcoming beer releases. Good luck with finding a permanent facility!

    Review is up!
Huge thanks to Jared for the Alter Ego. It was super fun pitting Grimm and Tree House up against each other again. Very close again.

Loving this batch of Cloudbusting. Not only does the Waiiti and Southern Cross offer really unique flavors, but the malt backbone is keeps getting more and more dialed in.

A very small amount of your beer made it here for Cleveland Beer Week. Any chance we will see more?

I just want to give a big thanks to everyone who showed up for the Grimm dinner tonight at WF Columbus Circle. The dinner was a huge success, and I certainly owe it to all the attendees for bringing the energy you did. I cannot express how excited I am for future dinners with all of you.

Our next dinner will likely be with the guys from Brewery at Bacchus, so keep a look out for that one. Hope to see you all again!

Also, for anyone who wasn't at the dinner, we did tap Echoplex last night after the event finished. As far as I'm aware, we're still the only place in the city who has the beer on tap, so please stop by tomorrow before the keg kicks! It was quite popular last night among the crowd.

I need to say it: this brewery has a chance to reach HF levels to me, being that world class level beers across a number of styles are being produced on the regular by these guys...purple prose was ridiculous, DN was insane, the IPAs are scary...this is awesome...
