I know that Abita takes a lot of crap for their line of mediocre beers, but I've very much enjoyed the bourbon street line.

Grimm's new DIPA, Cloudbusting, and man, oh, man...absolutely delicious.
Big notes of pineapple, tangerine and a touch of mango/papaya. Beautiful yellow color. Absolute citrus, and 8%? HAHAHAHA.

My wife made me drink another beer so I opened one brought back from NC a week ago. Not sure if I would buy it again though.

Ya know I drank a 6 pack of this last year and now realize I never poured it into a glass and therefore never realized how attractive the beer is.

Last one of my trip to Deschutes, the XXVI. Already know when I'm drinking my XXVII, as the Best After Date is the day before my son's VIIth birthday.
Dad will drink his BA Porter and smoke a cigar while Jr. has a sip and a candy cigarette.

I have no idea how this happened but I posted this earlier this evening and it must have entered bit heaven. Anyway, I started with a great IPA so decided to try Xingu which is a black beer from Brazil. If you want something diametrically opposite from an IPA this just might be your thing. Note: if anyone finds this is a double post let me know and I will double my meds.
