    Was this the first year they've bottled Blue Gene? I've had it when I lived in Chicago, but it was always only available via draft at the brewpub or taproom. I really freaking miss Revolution's taproom on Kedzie.

    Firefly Hollow Brewing - Cone Flakes

    Been to the brewery before, but this is the first time I've had this beer canned! Big hops, and pretty bitter, but spicy and herbal flavor!

    First one from the Czech Republic, and it's pretty tasty: Žatec Dark Lager. Roasted malts, toffee, a little floral character on the nose and palate. Those Europeans can brew some beer, I'll tell ya what!
