    Something from my brother in law in Denver. Bummed that he's not here, but I will see him in a couple of weeks and we have some excellent beers compiled. This seems appropriate with aroma of caramel, toffee, and marzipan. I taste the same with some nutmeg and cinnamon at the back of the palate. Nice warming sensation to the tongue.

    Petit Sault's La Buckdjeuve. A good (not excellent) example of the Winter Warmer style. A little too sugary and really lacking in carbonation but overall, a good beer. A Winter Warmer is especially great on a cold, subzero Winter night and for those in Colder climates (perhaps even warmer climates as well), I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven't already.

    I told everybody in the "WBWYBD on Christmas" thread I'd be having porters and stouts. Damn right! I'll keep this going well into tomorrow (well, not straight through, but I'll have some similar styles tomorrow, too.)

    About to do our Christmas, the gal and I. Time to open gifts!

    Nieces are in charge of Christmas Eve dinner this year; I've moved to front porch with something new: "Yeast Wrangler" a DIPA from Holy City Brewing, Charleston, SC.

    Hot and humid, with a sprinkle off and on; it was 80 in the RV moments ago. The beer has great color and mild citrus nose. Bitter hop taste and linger. Perfect on this unseasonably warm Xmas eve. Cheers!
