Just cracked a 4.0 for lunch.. Vacation c'mon. Holy pineapple juice. Nice work @rscot231 def nothing like the NW IPAs I've been drinking for the last few months, and I'm not familiar with NE IPAs aside from Maine lunch. Damn tasty none the less

4.0 is the last version that will feature the test pattern logo. All future iterations will be the 5.0 recipe and will have can art featuring the superhero that is my avatar on the forum here. They will not be numbered - just dated. Having a separate label for each version has been fun, but it's not cost effective in the long run.

Is the recipe going to continue to be tweaked or have you come to a recipe you like?

We are zeroing in on a permanent recipe which is a slight variation on 4.0. There will likely be minor tweaks to deal with raw material variations, but the flavor profile will be consistent.

4.0 is quite good. Just crushed 2. Thanks!

Better than the batch from July? Because that batch, even fresh, was not good. The old 750s were fantastic

Very cool and totally makes sense. I think you may have stated this, but do you plan on this being a year round canned offering or more of a seasonal brew?

No clue, I got some from May or so in July or August and it was awful. So bad I emailed the brewery and complained which they handled nicely. I picked up a 4 pack form Lukas dated 11-18 which was kept in the cold section(#good liquor stores matter) and its good. Not Comrade or Cannonball ipa good but for a bottled offering at a liquor store good.

I'll have to look for this new batch, because this was a great beer the first few times they released it

Only a pale ale but the 2016 Odell Wolfpicker is awesome.....or so I think, at least.

It will be year round. It replaced our double IPA in our year round lineup

Cracked my 4 day old 4.0 tonight ... Goddamn! I hope Ryan names this Superfan after me ... Because I am the superest of fans -- So solid! My hope: be very deliberate on supply -- you want this year round but not sitting (hi Lagunitas Sucks!) - because this needs to be an always fresh, never over-looked always in every CO hopheads fridge beer ... I want this to always be as great as it is right now ... Nice work again Odd13 ...

I cracked a 4.0 open last night as well. First time trying any version of Superfan, and really enjoyed it. Super fresh and juicy. Count me in as a fan.

Drinking a 4.0 right now. Great beer. Not trying to be contrarian, but I think I liked 3.0 slightly better. Without a side by side with similar freshness, it really doesn't matter, just my .02 from memory. Keep up the good work Odd13!
