    Happy 2016 BeerAdvocate. Spent most of last night DDing and taking people home. But got no where to drive so why not have a brew now.

    As part of my Christmas present, my wife arranged with her parents (who live in Iowa) to get me some Toppling Goliath products. This Golden Nugget tastes amazing, despite being a few months old. Gotta love Iowa. Been there around 100 times but never explored the local craft scene in depth.

    Happy New Year to all!
    My wife and I actually made it to midnight, and toasted each other with champagne. I think the nap I took from 8 to 10 helped me!
    After yesterday's debacle picking football bowl games, I'm not even going to attempt doing that today. @richj1970, all I can say is Roll Tide! It does look like the two best teams will be in the championship game.
    I plan on using this day in a productive manner, which will be drinking beer and watching more football.

    The two year old daughter was up shortly after I finished the WWStout, thus going back to bed quickly went out the window. So while someone is watching Frozen for the 10,000th time, I'm listening to music and wondering why I'm not as hungover as I should be.

    Oh yeah, it's because I'm still drinking.
