Hey BA's I work in 5 hours so this is my sole beer for today. I've got a cold so my taste isn't up to snuff so I found this the perfect day to have another of my kilkenny cream ale 4 pack. This beer has the guinness "nitroball" and is very smooth, flavors of light coffee raisin plum and some roasted malts. Really not all that flavorful and designed to be an "extreme" beer for the masses in my opinion. Cheers!

Just got back from grocery shopping, decided to crack one of these :

Pours a very fitting honey amber color with shades of iced tea, and a towering IPA-like head of 3 fingers. Lace is just beautifully diseased and webby.

Holy orange grapefruit pine bomb, batman. This aroma is just whoa. A touch of onion in there, too (becomes more armpit-like as it warms).

A bit thin at first, following with squirts of lemon, and pink grapefruit, orange pith, orange rind, a bit of citrus soda, and then a pleasant malty bread finish. If they were aiming for a more west coast market demographic, they've nailed it.

Feel is thin and watery, but becomes more viscous towards the middle and end of the profile.

A total knockout pacific style Amber. Onion on the nose, and bitter fruits as you sip it. Together it comes off as a real west coast style amber, without being overhopped. If you lean towards IPA's I highly recommend it. I however do not, so this is a sipper for me.

 

Last one for the season, unfortunately.
