Just listened to this 15 minutes ago, but didn't think to share. Then Trojan created his post and I thought it quite serendipitous.

Making my way into this one. This is one tasty brew. Not on level with maybe Hop Red Rye but style wise it's really nice. No problem drinking these four!

Broke into the new Devils Backbone collab sampler... have had the Surly Risen Coffee Oak Brown and now I'm drinking the Wicked Weed Seven Summits Imperial Stout. Both are winners!

This is pretty spicy!!

 

Since we had people over for a post Holiday party last weekend, I'm still putting away holiday stuff from both inside and outside the house while supervising children. Wife is off shopping because she's standing up in a wedding of a couple, who, to be brutally honest, almost nobody is giving a chance to make their first anniversary.
Figured I would enjoy me a stout-off.



Both bottled this fall/winter, I had never had either before buying these.
Winner: me (really having a hard time picking one over the other right now. Maybe as they warm one will be better.)

Thanks to @oldn00b for reminding me how one of my favorite bands worked with Bowie. He basically has one line to sing and just about steals the show on this one.

My favorite live performance of his. For some reason, the only version on YouTube of a song named "America" was posted by a Russian. Make of that what you will, I'm going back to decorations and stout.

 

Right on! I actually threw Reflektor on after Funeral - it's spinning now but no new beer so no new post. Cheers!

 

Ok, completed two things on my list (and forgot a third, but I can do that later). Beer from last week is obviously fermenting again, which is good. Bad is I probably should bottle my other batch but my helper is out of town. Other good is that my car passed emissions... so I earned lunch and beer. Prepping:
