What beer are you drinking now? #1193

Oh yes it finally arrived. Even better than normal.

 

My go to afternoon beer until I get my hands on Hopslam.

 

Got a mixed case of North Country beer a few years back while near the 'burgh and still have several left. This stout was actually easily the best of the case. I still use the other beers for cooking though. The Fireman's red or whatever it's called has gone into my cabbage on St. Patrick's Day for the last two years, and I reckon it will be in it again for the next three celebrations as well!

It's trivia Tuesday and I found a great find at the second hand store today. Guess I'll have to break out the big bottle from 2010 tonight with the guys. Yes, the price tag in the upper corner is $4 and all the pieces are with it!

 

Starting today with a lurker from the fridge, Foothill's Cottonwood Pumpkin (3.57).

 

What to do with all these great hop forward beers being released lately? Start drinking them! This unfiltered batch of Enjoy By has definitely grabbed my attention. I'm regretting not buying another six pack. A thing of beauty amidst the dismal winter landscape.

 

Starting happy hour a little early. Think I might need to pull something big and burley from the cellar tonight... Cheers!

 

Totally a steal! An 11.3% barleywine for $2.00 a bottle or less? Awesome stuff!

Did I ever mention how much I HATE snow and the shoveling of snow? One of the main reasons I left Grand Rapids and lived in Tucson for nearly eight years. Six more weeks of this then back to the south.

Never been to Hawaii, but when I go, I'm going to Dukes on Sunday.
