I had seen all the Black Friday hoopla on this site so, when I stopped by a good shop in San Diego the following Monday (30 Nov.), I half-jokingly asked if they had any BCBS. I was shocked when he pointed to single bottles of BCBS and BCBW right at the register. "What's the price?" 14.99. Hmmm I know that's a bit steep, but I'd never had it and hey, what's an extra 5 bucks for the ease of acquisition, so I went for it. I shared it with 4 beer geek friends a couple of weeks later and we all agreed it was fantastic, one of the best we'd ever had, right up there with Parabola. So I happened by the store again last Tuesday (26 Jan.) and yep, same setup with single bottles right at the register! I bought another, but just one.... 15 bucks for 17 oz of beer is usually out my comfort zone. I'm sure my friends will be happy to see it again though!
You should probably just walk into Vons and Ralphs and grab a bottle for $8.99 - 9.99. It is still all over the place down here as of last week, haven't really checked this week though.
Yeah, its pretty easy to find now, at much cheaper prices. A second shipment hit a couple weeks back. And if spending $15 on a beer is not your usual thing, you need to stop drinking craft beer right now It's going to get WAY worse if that is what your budget is. I refuse to even look at my beer bills every month.
There's a place in the south bay selling BCBS for 25 bucks. Plus, you can get a bottle of Pliny for 12 bucks AFTER you spend 30 bucks !

Just saw a bunch of instagram posts about cases of BCBS arriving at various stores in LA. Wouldn't necessarily say it's easy to get but it definitely is findable if you ask around and are willing to drive. I payed 14.99 for one at a nearby store that only got one case and ~$10 each for a few bottles at a nearby WF a week later.
