Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Just opened a Scotch Barrel Poterie and it is far and away my favorite Anniversary version in the past few years. I'd equate the improvement to how much better Rum BT was to standard BT in terms "different but better". I took my included bottles with HS membership but sorta wish I picked up a few extras.

With 2 included + 6x allocation, I'd assume many did the same so undoubtedly when it comes up for resale/RS sale I'd strongly recommend jumping on it. At first I was afraid they released it early because it may have had a problem, but after tasting it I'd say it is perfect and they just wanted to put it out there. Very little peat bog but amazing caramel barrel flavors in there with a touch of single malt. Fantastic beer.

 

Anyone else see on the receipt: Select item: Growler [$33.99] but get charged $39.99?

 

Anyone got notes on the sans with vanilla and oude tart boysen cream?

 

Had both at the event. Both killer, SP+V was better but I overheard it was a double cherry version (totally could be bullshit) but I preferred it none the less.

That said Room for me was the show stopper that afternoon.

 

Had both tonight at the tr. Sans is exactly what it sounds like, that awesome sour cherry with a ton of vanilla added. The more it warmed up, the more the vanilla came through. The Oude Tart Blueberry Cream was incredible. So creamy and so much fruit and a nice level of sour. As it warmed it got creamier and creamier. While both were steller beers, the OT Blueberry cream was my favorite.

They also had TOD with orange and chocolate on tonight and that was quite good. If you let it warm enough it tasted like a sour version of one of those orange chocolate candy balls.

 

It came through fine, though I haven't opened it yet. I did this once before and the beer was great.

 

Looks like Saixon a saison with brett could be an allocation come Monday.

 

I'm not seeing any option to purchase additional merchandise.

 

Same here. I tried to buy one yesterday and I didn't see the option so I sent them a message and the response was "The selection is listed under ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE. There will be a drop down menu to select the item."

Problem is, there is no ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE showing up. Even when I do a search, nothing shows up. I guess The Bruery doesn't want me to buy any additional merchandise.

 

They prob set it to expire like earlier this week by accident since they just extended until Sunday.

Maybe they should outsource their online store to Amazon, cause they sure struggle with running it. I'm going to admit I don't have any experience in that arena, but damn, is it that hard?

 

I've had zero issues with the store. Every experience I've had at the society desk has also been a positive one.

But I'm also extremely nice to people in the service industry and don't sweat the small stuff, so that could be it too.

Are the growlers fills for sans and oude still pouring? Hopefully I can make it there in time later tonite.
