The macros will spend the ad bucks to defend their market share. One they figured out that women represent a significant share of the market, strategy was changed. To me, it's surprising that it took them so long to figure that out, just like recognizing crafts influence.

I know several women who drink almost exclusively IPAs. It surprised me at first, but now I almost expect it!

It may not be my father's Oldsmobile, but I wouldn't want that heap either.

I think that Shock-top commercial is supposed to be a riff on the "You know how I know you're gay?" from the 40 year old virgin, but a bad version of it

I can't like this enough such an underrated post.

On the topic of women in craft beer I think in general people are afraid to venture outside what they find comfortable in the sense that if they feel they might not belong they dont bother. If more men and women were like @BrokenEdge where they just said "fuck it I'm gonna do whatever the hell I want" we'd be much better off as a society. I mean I got as much flac for being the only guy taking sewing in highschool as the only girl who was in my advanced metals class did for being in metals.

To defy the laws of tradition is a crusade only of the brave.

    -Les Claypool.

The accuracy of this quote only becomes more apparent as I grow older. I'm glad to see any evidence the tides are shifting even if its just some giant company trying to pander to a gender for profit. Progress is progress.

I can also attest to the rise in women drinking craft beer. It used to be most bottle shops/beer festivals I went to it was all guys. Now its almost equal numbers. Its good!

That has been the surprise for me this year. The increase in women at our locals tastings.

You get one point for making a valid point, and another point for making a cherished Primus reference. Two points to @jRocco2021

30% of craft beer is consumed by women? From my experiences at bars and parties, these statistics seem like 100% BS

Just saw a new Shock Top billboard, says something like "No Citrus Added, All Natural Flavor". A shot at GF Sculpin, nice!!!

No citrus added? AB's official Tap Into Your Beer website with the ingredient listings for all the beers says (underlining added):
What are orange, lemon and lime peel if not citrus? Perhaps they meant it as a dig at the orange slice hanging off rival MC's Blue Moon?
