Grabbed a sixer of this for $11 while I was at the store. New for around these parts and decently fresh. Best By 6/10/16 been awhile since I had one. You forget how good these are...

That's exactly how I felt and it didn't grow on me.

 

Finally home after a long day. Time to unwind! Beer No. 1 goes out to Alpine Beer Company's Duet. So glad I can finally get this beer in NJ. Cheers!

 

Bought a single of Icehouse. First time I have had this brew in a while. It's ok for the price.

 

Nice little gift from a friend, I'm about to drink them both haha cheers.

 

Happily I was able to grab enough of these to put em away and try em as they age. So far so damn good. Cheers.

 

Drank the Calling while prepping cheesy BLT pie.

 

Last one of these I have (for now). Pliny is a tough act to follow but this is bottled 2/3 and no slouch (so different, and so delicious). Cheers!

 

On to another GA beer.



Tastes like pine straw mulch in a glass with some nice fruity notes.

 

Not much BA love for tonight’s selection. Bros only gave it a 64 and the faithful weren't much impressed. Maybe it’s my affinity for barleywines and boozy beers, but I hold it in far greater esteem. Certainly doesn’t reach the level of its sister brew, Insanity, but I find it rates a good bit higher than "okay”. At $10.99 a four pak, I’ll be getting a second helping soon.
