I am GROOT! I mean, good morning.

 

Happy Humpday BA's! Had Fat Tuesday off for some mental health and family time. Took the boy to the park on a beautiful February 60 degree Montana day. We then went and bought my wife a table she wanted from TJ Maxx to surprise her after work. I gave her a look the other day because it was $70 but then stopped by the beer store for a couple Abyss variants for a trade. The minute she saw the receipt I could tell from the look in her eye I had to go get the table. Cheers everyone!! I'll lead a charge to enjoy all those things given up for lent for you.

Good morning, all! It's a brisk 6°F/-14°C here in the Cedar Valley right now, and I could use a warmer. Think I'll go with Xocoveza, since today is a holiday. In Malta. The Feast of St. Paul's Shipwreck. As Casey Stengel said, you could look it up.

I've had my coffee in my cream, now I'm having chocolate and peanut butter in my porter.
Cloudy and cold here, looks like a movie day.

 

Howling Hops (London, England) Running Beer - a light US-inspired brown ale. Perfectly balanced body and great, luscious hops.

 

Americano is a decent enough stout on it's own, but Xocoveza is still too fresh in my mind to forget. I guess I prefer my beer like my food? With a little spice! Time to drink beer and blow a little more snow. Happy hump!

If you're a sports fan, I hope you got to see last night's SportsCenter. In a week where MVPs are being described as sore losers, where star players are getting suspended for beating up their friends, and when phenoms are unfortunately self destructing before our eyes, it's funny that a pro wrestler could become the most important sports story as an ambassador for athletes with head trauma. I've followed him since he was a student at Sean Michaels' school, and he really comes across as an average Joe who got to the top of his profession and then had to step away for the sake of any satisfactory life down the line. I wish him the best.

 

Did they officially change the name to Ballast Point Fruit Market yet?

Life hit several major rough spots all around the same time & I've been (& still am, somewhat) busy trying to get everything back together - BUT - I don't think I could've lasted much longer without BA in my life - missed ya'll :-)
