Need some help. I vaguely remember an event (I wanna say it was at Crescent Moon) for Omaha Beer Week that was a "party cup" pint night, but I can't for the life of me find it now or remember exactly where it was. Any ideas?

Thanks! I probably skimmed that event 20 times last night looking for the post and missed it every time.

Zipline India Pale Ale is so damn good. I highly recommend that you guys pick some up while it is fresh.

I had that and their BA Double Chocolate Stout on tap at Beercade the other night and was pleasantly surprised by both. I've been mostly indifferent toward a majority of their output in the past, but those two beers have nudged me in the direction of optimism.

I am also very surprised by the new Zipline India Pale Ale. I always thought they made solid beer but I would still pass over their beer for other beers on the shelf. They are going much more in the direction that I prefer for my IPAs (yup, I like the new school juicy IPAs). I should try it next to Florida Sue since that may be the only similar locally available IPA. I know the new Zipline IPA uses several hop varieties but I get lots of Citra and Mosaic and Citra seems to dominate over all.

I have also been hearing raves about that BA Double Chocolate Stout as well. I picked one up but still need to try it to see if I need to buy more.

When will the Moon have the tap list available for the event next Friday? Seems like last year the kegs were announced way earlier

I don't know anything but I'd suspect that one could make a pretty decent educated guess of what will be there by scrolling through everyone else's Beer Week events... BCBS will obviously be there just like it will be at 30 other places, and if I were to make some wild guesses on others I'd probably pick from these that other places are also tapping: Lolita, Friek, Russian Pirate, La Folie, BA Yeti, Rye on Rye X, Zipline BA Double Chocolate, some Buffalo Sweat variant, HopAnomaly, Peace Tree Templeton Red, something from Infusion is probably a given, maybe Project Pam or Backwoods Bastard or Old Curmudgeon as a wildcard.

A whole lotta beer that should have just been drank when it was delivered :sunglasses:

We have much more interesting beer coming on our Shelton order which hopefully will hit by OBW. Both of these will hopefully hit the crowler machine that week.

Fuck Yeah! I was hoping those would hit the Crowler Machine. That first one looks better than anything at ROTB in my opinion.

What's everyone think of Beer Week's calendar? Probably only gonna make it out for a night or two, leaning towards next Thursday in Benson. Heard the Odell event at Krug was good last year.
