    decided it was time for me to begin my first LNBA. Tonight i started it off with my first sierra nevada tumbler of the season and a steak which i marinated in sierra nevada beer camp oatmeal stout. now ive moved onto peak organic pale ale (doesnt jump out and get ya but its solid enough)

    For tonight, again thanks to LambicKing, my first Pure Hoppiness. Now I am starting to see what all the fuss is about with Alpine. Delicious. Nice piney, sticky resiny goodness.

    1st) Started the afternoon with a refreshing 49th Parallel Watermelon Wit
    2nd) A good old standby: Central City Red Racer IPA
    3rd) Longwood Imperial Stout-Great, roasty Imperial Stout. One of my faves.

    At the Wonder Bar in Casper: Big Horn Black Ale and Pako's IPA.

    At home, I'm sipping on a Midnight Sun T.R.E.A.T. It's in the top 50 of the style and hasn't lost a thing, imho, from when I had it fresh. :slight_smile:

    First of all, I must extend my warmest regards to fellow beeradvocate member ``Urbancaver''. How great is this guy? He contacts a total stranger (me) out of the blue saying he's up in New England and preparing to drive back home to the Queen City and would like to know if I want him to bring me back some Heady Topper(!). I mean, does this happen to everyone?????

    Urbancaver, you are my hero. Someday, somehow, I hope I get the opportunity to pay this forward.

    FWIW, Pure was my least favorite with Exponential, Nelson, and Duet. I'm having a bottle of Miracle IPA by Clown Shoes, it's got some nice juiciness, but it's just a bit too light.

    Kicking things off with the last of a keg of oatmeal stout that I've had on for a while. The keg has been refilled with some cider that should be ready to drink in a week
