I brought 2 friends with me to the PTY release this year. One of them spilled his first pour all over the entire bar!

More often than I care to admit. Even worse is when you come home and find out that someone has made your bottle of Orval, which you have been aging for 4 years, into a soup.

Oh sure, law of averages catches up with all of us. So keep a backup or three.

You are correct. I did not particularly enjoy the 2 sips I took.

This weekend I was slidding a full glass of Alpha King across the table to my friend and caught the groove between the leaf and table end. Dumped a good 3/4 of it across the table and onto the carpet. Pissed.

Every year at Dark Lord Day, someone inevitably drops and breaks all four bottles. I think those carriers are held together only by hope...

Last year was really bad with the rain. People put their 4 pack on the wet ground, then went to pick them up quickly and the wet-bottomed 4 pack only held up enough for the beer to get at the perfect breaking height before releasing all the beer. Right after I saw that I ditched the 4 pack and put it all in my backpack.

On a side note, I had a friend who was so drunk that day he decided to open his varient in the cab on the way home. I think that counts almost as much as spilling it.

dropped a can of Heady once as I was bringing it to a friend's house as a gift. It has a little puncture so I opened it, poured it in a glass, and drank it. It was going to be a surprise for my friend, so I never told him about it.

Never, which means I care far more about my beer than anyone who has.

Very recently had an 'incident' involving an Omnipollo/Tired hands Shilkmake. Set the bag with the bottle and one other on the last third of my bed, not on the edge or anything or standing up. Few moments later I pick a couple times off the bed (none touching the bottles or bag) and this must have startled the bottles to move and they both, in the bag, some how tilt off the end, fall on the heat-sink of my stereo sub-woofer and hit the very sharp corner with both bottle caps. The other one survives but the Omni is punctured and spraying a lovely fine mist everywhere. I'm talking ceiling, my door a good 10ft away, everywhere. So saddened.

No. I've inadvertently cellared a beer till well past its prime if that counts.

Last night, I dropped a bottle of Blue Moon Cinnamon Horchata Ale from their Brewmaster's Seasonal Sampler. The bottle did not break. That being said, I am unsure if the ending of the story will be one that is happy or sad or bittersweet.

I once inadvertently left a four pack of Chimay Red in the fridge when my son's friends came over for a football game party. They couldn't figure out how to twist off the tops though.

That can happen through a sealed bottle? That sucks a lot.

Last year I visited Valkyrie brewing, and got a case there. As I was carrying the case out to the car, the bottom of the case opened up. All 24 botles hit the ground. Amazingly, none were broken.

Had a lot of beers but I've only had this one once, I would have cried or seriously busted something up. I might have slurped it off the ground to the best of my ability too.

Several years ago I paid a lot (for me at the time) for a pint of oak aged Hercules IPA. I took two sips, proclaimed it to be the best beer I ever tasted, and proceeded to somehow knock it over causing the beer and shattered glass to pour into my gentlemans area. Disappointing on so many levels.

Spilled an oak aged Yeti once onto my wireless keyboard. Lost two things I like that day. Not an overly rare beer I admit, but those Apple keyboards apparently were not tested to resist their goodness.
