    Yea I really like the concept. The local beer scene in Buffalo is starting to blossom, and there are some very respectable beers that I think would be cool to get some exposure to BA's who'd otherwise never get to try them. Plus, if I go out of my way and get a little lucky, I can find some pretty nice goodies. I think I'll give it a spin when #4 comes around (summer?)

    Oregon might be tricky, since we can't even get one to show up on NBS. Those darn Oregonians, so spoiled by their local options they just stay in their own beer cocoon.

    Well, I'ma try twisting @sharpski 's arm a bit. Plus, I think we can maybe nudge a couple of the NW forum regulars along a bit. In addition, @otispdriftwood has moved from NY to CO, so maybe I'll make him an offer. I've already got my eye on a particular horse's head.:wink:

    Hint - My target lives near a river with a name similar to a catchphrase shouted at the beginning of a cheesy tv show that aired in the 70s and 80s. That character was probably shorter than anyone in this BIF and the actor had a French name.

    Said ipa crowler's keg blew, so my target is instead getting two crowlers of Oregon beer, a sour and a RIS (different breweries, though) . He specifically stated to beertunes that he likes both styles.

    Another Sports Hint: My target lives in a state, whose NFL sports team (the team that I hate) was not able to clinch the division with a home game against a border rival (target should be able to figure out who they are now!)

    So, if we do these twice a year, every 6 months, that puts us in March/April in the spring, and September/October in the fall. Does that work for most folks? Gets us past the holidays and worst of the winter weather in the spring, and past the worst of the heat in summer. Seems OK to me, thoughts?

    There are 3 people from my state participating in this BIF. There are 2 people in my targets state participating in this BIF. 2 boxes of beer from my state will land in my targets state.
