Good thinking. Plus, it's before the holidays grind really gets going.

    Haul hint # google
I'm sitting in a brewpub in my hometown, approx. 150 miles from where I live. After I eat my Cuban panini and finish a double dry hopped version of Runaway Red, I'll be purchasing some bottled beer and some swag, to go with the two crowlers, multiple cans of an ipa. I referenced earlier, and a wild ale from west Seattle. Oh, and I still need to pick up a beer whose style rhymes with maltic torter.

Yeah, and before all the puntball gets going, plus baseball playoff BIFs. Kids are back in school, and folks should be mostly on their regular schedules.

...because I'm pretty sure that the entirety of the Rust Belt just burst through my door.
The building manager went to hand me my package then gave up and suggested I try and pick it up myself as she was unable.
I managed to haul this box up the stairs and into the apartment and started digging.
My excavations revealed many buried treasures: some of which I'd been dreaming of since I heard tell of this fabled case, some of which I had no idea to expect, many of which I'm sure I will be dreaming of long after their contents are emptied and their remains parted out to collections and recycling bins.
One of the sarcophagi contained therein seemed foreign:
Upon further examination, however, it was revealed to be an intricate inner storage compartment, housing the most precious of jewels of all. For real there is a growler of Bodhi in there.

But now I have a problem. Like, legitimately. I don't know how I'm going to store it all. My fridge is not exactly empty, and while some of that will be shipping out the other direction soon, for now, we are at a bit of an impasse.

    Hint # whatever

If you live in a town named for a Confederate submarine, you will not be getting any PNW beer, but someone close to you will be.

Man as good as that sounds (and it sounds real good. And those guys, in a very short time, have earned the pedigree to back that up), the release sounds more like it would have just made me cranky, even enough so to balance out the joy derived from such tipple

Whatever the volume it was damn near 30 pounds, and irregardless of the mass and volume involved it is a metric shit tonne of delicious looking liquid...

I went into this one deciding I was going to stick closer to the minimum and go quality of quantity, and then I just said fuck it, I'm doing both. There are 2 each of the Rajah and Eddy Fitz because those are my 2 fridge staples, and who wants one shelf beer anyway?

Hope the Bodhi is still worthy of it's rep. The story with that is I was on my way to Hoof Hearted and decided to make a slight detour (40-50 miles give or take:wink:) because I saw the one shop on Twitter said they had Columbus Brewing's Bodhi and Creeper both on tap. Got there and they had an issue with the Creeper valve and had to send it back and the Bodhi kicked ad he was filling it, so my expectations were low with that fill then I underestimated the shipping time to Alaska:grinning:

The Kitka and the Blue Goose are the experimental ones in that box. I had the Goose at the brewery last year and thought it was a very nice beer and they just started bottling stuff. No better occasion than a BIF for someone to try a cream ale.

If you enjoyed this delivery, I think you will be pretty excited about Friday's:slight_smile:
    Cheers!
