@Ri0's boxed tour of the Midwest beer scene (Wisconsin is superbly represented, but some regional, out-of-state gems have been snuck in as well) has been picked up, along with a back brace to help with lugging it out to my car and into my building. I'm going to still try to play around with posting pics later on today and this evening, but if unsuccessful, tomorrow may see me soliciting phone numbers to text photos to one ofs y'all to get them on here.

One content teaser: I received a bottle of KBS. I'm revealing that now because it's the only beer I've had before. I don't know if I missed that one when I tried to purge all the beers I've had that were on my wants list (I will seriously never stop wanting KBS, even if Founders starts distributing here), or Ri0 saw my review and decided to pitch it in as an extra, but either way I'm massively grateful!

Speaking of Founders, that is the only brewery out of everything in this massive box that isn't new to me, at least as far as drinking is concerned. Some great names often seen on NBS are present, however, and I'm quite chuffed to be in a position to drink them!

Years ago I was a CSR for a company that is no longer with us. A customer called up because their tracking number showed the item had shown up at the local warehouse 3-4 days ahead of schedule, but just seemed to be marking time there. When I called the shipping company and asked why they were just letting it sit for days (UPS or FedEx, I honestly don't remember), the woman on the other end of the phone informed me that they couldn't bring it ahead of when it was scheduled because the customer hadn't specified faster shipping!

It DID get scanned at like 3am, so to turn around for trucks that may head out at 5am or so (maybe??) might've been a little quick? And, as you said, I didn't pay for faster shipping. I'll be glad if it doesn't have to wait over the weekend.

No doubt it couldn't quite make the quick turnaround. That's happened to me plenty of times before. Just saying, sometimes, the mentality of shipping companies can be a bit strange.

That's one thing I haven't tried. Up to now, I've been messing around with BA's insertion area (that sounds more awkward than I intended:grimacing:).

No beer was recovered from USS Triton, but a couple crowlers were filled for my target in the same town I took this picture.

@cjgiant provided the insight to solving that. Now for uploading beer **** pics.

Got my first shipment form @JDAWG71 currently paying off the owner of the oxen team that pulled it up the driveway to my house. Will post pics soon.

Hey, anybody know how much stuff we can cram into a post here? While I now seem capable of posting pics, I'm having size problems. Maybe I'll limit pics to 2 per posts.

Based on @Greywulfken's posts, I don't think there's a limit by the site. I usually resize my photos before uploading, for a couple reasons. I think 2 photos per works as well... keeps the suspense going .

Geez, @Ri0 . That poor old FedEx plane was so beat down by your box, engines are falling off.
Oh, that can't be right. I arranged to pick it up downtown.

Even Bobby Wagner is impressed. That calendar was on another wall until I set those beers there.

Long ago. It's what morphed into Olympia Brewing. I think that dates from the 1890s. Obviously, it's not original. A friend made a super high quality copy of a bunch of old beer posters in the Viking Tavern. I bought a copy of that one and an old Blitz-Weinhard one from him about 10 years ago.

I'm gonna geek out and type each one of those beers down and check em out on here after I stash them in the fridge, which will have to be purged a wee bit, much to my tastebuds' delight and my liver's chagrin.
