Vanilla smoked porter was one of my favorite beers and the price was great.

Last year the vanilla bean version wasn't bottled and was only available on draft at the company stores. That's probabaly gonna be gone too.

I really hate to see this one go... this was one of the beers that got me interested in craft beer to begin with. Definitely the beer that turned me on to Stone.

I'm really sad to hear this. The original and vanilla seasonal were two of the best examples of smoked beers on the market. They definitely got me in to both smoked beers and Stone.

This and the pepper and vanilla variants were great beers that I didn't buy often enough. Hopefully we'll see some more porters/smoked beers coming out of Stone in the future.

Man, sad to see this go.

Can't believe they pulled SSR too. Sales must not have been good.
    I hope IRS isn't next

I'm up for a 2.0 though, Ruination came out great

I haven't purchased it in years. That's probably why they're retiring it as I'm likely not alone.
As long as they don't kill off the RIS, I'll be okay. That beer is still among my absolute faves after all these years.

I wonder if they're going to release the recipe for it, like they did with Pale Ale?

I haven't bought any in a while myself, but that's because it became more scarce. The variants seem to have been its undoing because that's all many stores will carry. And since I loathed the variants, I just stopped even looking in that direction.

And you all thought that buying every Enjoy By variation would have no consequences.

I was sad to hear this as it was the first craft beer I ever had. But it's not surprising. I haven't purchased one in probably a few years. I will probably pick one up though for the nostalgia.

Just picked one up yesterday after hearing the news. This was literally the beer that opened my eyes to the American craft scene. I used to order cases from a specialty store before it became so prolific. Will enjoy several more of these while it's still around.

This doesn't bother me. Not a fan of "smoked" beer.

This is unfortunate as I've always enjoyed this beer. Just the other day I was thinking about how I hadn't seen it around lately.

I became very disappointed reading this and then realized I haven't bought a bottle in over a year. Guess I'm part of the problem.
