@newjack , @bigjsempire , and whomever is the target for @kemoarps . Since the three of us are all in Washington, we decided to each put 1 beer in common in our boxes. I hope you'll enjoy this shared brew. My target will be able to drink it out of the glassware that it's served in at the brewery.

I have been a classical music lover first and foremost since about 2000, but honestly like about every genre including roots reggae, doom metal, and bluegrass.

Dropped out of the Dead scene in early 90's, and started seeing and enjoying Phish. Personally I wish a lot fewer folks would have liked Phish and Dead, I would have enjoyed them more with fewer of the rich assholes who came onto the scene after they got a degree of reputation and popularity.

Uhhh, they seem to go on forever cuz you aren't on enough drugs. Smoke a little green and listen to one of those 30 minute jams and you'll be wondering why the song was so short. Haha.

Gary, that would have required some real sleuthing. If you hadn't mentioned this, I would have never looked at the iPod, which required me magnifying the pic! Either way, I'm excited for some MN beers.

I don't know about y'all, but the updated BA look is really messing with me. It's like they turned each beer and place page topsy-turvy. Why?

meh, I don't worry about change too much. It always looks weird at first, but then you are used to it and it seems fine.

Not that I worry, but it's taking some getting used to. I don't mind change. Haven't lived in the same place for more than 10 years my entire life.

Check out Mountain Jam by the Allman Brothers. That is a 33 minute jam, that actually makes structural sense. I do freely admit though, that I had great times in the parking lots of Dead shows when they would roll through town. Almost as "successful" as when the Billy Graham Crusade would set up camp for a week.

Drugs and Billy Graham could be interesting too. Haha.

It wasn't the drugs. It was about the "openness" of certain members of the group to accept you into their "tribe".

I just remembered that I did not buy the Wander glass that matches the beer we're sending. I bought the glass that goes with a beer I am not sending. Whatevs.

Saw another one a few minutes ago.

Carson, WA - On the border, but the right state at least...

I've heard of Carson. In an unsurprising development, there's a brewery there: http://www.backwoodsbrewingcompany.com/

My skepticism of boxes arrival today is growing.:slight_frown:

Funny how beer geekdom leads to improvements in geographical knowledge. Maybe they should hand out craft beer in geography classes.

I've always interested in geography. Even when I was a kid, I liked looking at maps, and figuring out how to from A to C. I used to keep a road atlas next to my chair, and if I was watching a game on TV, and they mentioned a players hometown, if I didn't know where it was, I'd look it up. It was one of the things I liked best about my OTR driving days.
