I included the non-target ninja boxes, but denoted them as such. Not sure if they qualify towards the voting or if the jury will be instructed to disregard them as testimony, but figured I'd still include them as more information>less information (haHA! MULtiple entendre!).

If anyone notes something missing (ie you see your name, but there are fewer boxes than you remember sending out or something), go ahead and pipe up or pipe down, now's the time!

Also...
for voting. Is this just a 'vote for your favourite' type situation, or do we send our top three, in order, or how does that work? Also, do we have a hard and fast deadline by which time the three podium placement senders would like to receive the votes (@smanson56 )?

Also, as an addendum to my rules questions above: Obviously we can't vote for our own boxes, but did I hear correctly that we are also not to vote for the person from whom we received packages? Because that could be important to my vote...

 

You are allowed to vote for the box you received.

 

I was under the impression that we should not.

My apologies to @foundersasap, @ONovoMexicano, and especially, @Ri0. I did not get to that CW BBA barleywine. I just totally ran out of steam, and if I'd forced myself to drink it anyway, the review would probably have sucked. So it lives to fight another day.

Haha indeed, had @Oldladyfingers , and two non BA friends, Paul R. and Dave B., over for a BIF tasting, I took pics, and we all commented on the beer and I took notes, and it all caught up with me. I can hold my own with the best of them, but we hit em pretty hard and beer of that quality is impossible to resist having, you know, just a couple more.

So, @kemoarps sorry I was MIA, and didn't give you the props in the thread you deserve, but let me just say that the Fremont stout you sent, Dark Star, is the equal of the best stout I have ever tried in my life (and I have had, ya know, a few), and is dangerously drinkable and high ABV. The rest we tried were almost as good, such great variety of excellence it was just a unique pleasure to be able to taste and share.

Will post the pics and reviews in the upcoming NBS, as well as some still waiting to be enjoyed. I promise y'all I will try to enjoy them a little less, ummmm... vigorously.
