So I'd been meaning to follow in the footsteps of some here on the thread and share as I drank the box, but... uh... I haven't. So now a sort of customized version of WBAYDN!

The second bottle of White Rajah is now empty and gone. @WesMantooth said he included two bottles because they are his day-to-day fridge staples and I must say: if this were available in my area, they'd probably be pretty common in my fridge as well! Thanks for sending them along Corey!

New Beer Wednesday is underway! I'm watching the Mariners mariner all over the place again (although, to be fair, they aren't trailing yet, but it's only the bottom of the first. Give 'em some time), and I've dipped into the box from @richj1970 for an Old Ale that's pretty nice! http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22655/110053/

Well, it took me a bit longer to get through that 22 of Old Ale than I expected, and afterwards, I needed a sammich and a palate cleansing Field 41. Chicken sammich consumed, F41 a fond memory, it's time to try this brew from the ninja box courtesy of @beatjunkee : http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/25327/68978/ . Pretty nice brew, thanks much!

2nd generation. The first due, was Nuke (Newcastle) and Taddy (Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter--my brother and I liked the Oatmeal stout better than the porter but it made for a better name). They were great dogs.
Nuke was a 75 lb German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Teddy was a big, black lab. They were inseparable. My brother and I were way into the nascent days of "craft" and at that time we thought Newcastle was pretty good. This was the mid to late 90's.
These pups were 2nd round. Fearless and Lucy, rescue mutts.

...and I really shouldn't have. Yes, everything's ready to go, but for the shipping part, and that will not be able to happen before the 20th. The good news for @newjack is that there's another 100.68oz of beer heading his way on that date, plus some more swag, some of which will ensure that he has appropriate glassware for 44 of those ounces.

Working on packing up my best box winners box. Waiting for a delivery to add to the box before I ship as I was hoping to hit a few wants from their list so I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow and I'll be able to ship it out early next week.

Couple of former students play for Seattle... catcher Mike Zunino and pitcher Casey Coleman... great kids or young men... hopefully Mikey can get pulled back up from Triple A... he played well the other night... enjoy the season. Hopefully new management will help

I'm a big Z fan, he's such a good catcher, I don't care how much he hits. I think he'll be back up sooner, rather than later.

Was it Zunino's struggles that ostensibly had them hiring Edgar to be hitting coach last year? Whoever it was, it became so predictable a thing where the broadcasting team would zero in on Edgar in the dugout between strikes, you could have turned it into a drinking game.
