Waldo's Special Ale without a doubt!! It's a hoppy, dank, resinous punch in the mouth, and it was positively awesome!!

Waldo's Special by Lagunitas. First one I had didn't WOW me, but I'm on my third one now (not all in one night!) and I'm contemplating buying another 6er. I should probably avoid anything over 10% but it's tasty.

Russian River Beatification and Trillium Double Dry Hopped Sleeper Street. Wow! It was a hell of a bottle share.

Yazoo's Embrace the Funk-Never Again....... A two-year journey of a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, fermented with Brettanomyces and souring bacteria, and aged in 40-year-old Oloroso Sherry casks, Merlot wine barrels, and Bourbon barrels. Very cool story behind the beer as well.

Heady Topperrrrrr. I really wanted to dislike it due to the unavailability of it for me. I freakin loved it! Had it side-by-side with a 2wk old SoS and it beat down that Sunshine like Tyson did to Spinks.

The other big surprise for me was the BA Neapolitan and BA Imperial Neapolitan. Some of the best integration of barrel and adjuncts I've ever had. That being said, I haven't had some of the whoppers out there. Oh, Regal Rye was pretty damn tasty too.

Two beers for me in the past few weeks stand out:
    - white mocha (on nitro) by Fieldwork - unique beer, beautiful chocolate mocha nose, thick and delicious with a light color.
    - mai tai P.A. from Alvarado Street - maybe one of the best tropical noses ive ever experienced on a beer
